Background & Project Scope
Cincinnati State is a two-year college located near downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The college boasts one of the largest co-op programs of any community college, degree programs in a variety of fields, and a nationally ranked culinary school.
The college needed a new brand identity to compete against local four-year colleges, other two-year colleges, and online degree programs. A team of marketing consultants, ad agencies, and integrated marketing agencies was formed to achieve the rebranding. Pop's responsibilities covered print and digital communication.
Execution
A new logo was to be extended through the college's entire identity system and a marketing-driven, online presence was to be established, all on a tight deadline. Components created by Pop included:

- Microsite for recruitment
- Digital advertising
Results
- Substantial increase in brand awareness
- Enrollment jumped 17% in first quarter after launch of new branding (Fall 2007)
